PRAYER FORCE
The
Worth Of A Soul
In
our Prayer
Force during
Missions week I want us to look and see people as God does. Let’s
discuss the subject The
Worth Of A Soul.
We’ve touched on this in the past, but we need to address relevant
truths that cannot be dismissed by anyone. A baby is born into a world
torn by strife, conflict, wars and serious moral decay. Its parents will
have to contend with many issues to keep their child from being pulled
into this vacuum of insanity. They both must make an assessment and
figure out what The
Worth Of A Soul is
to them. How much do they love their child or children? What
lengths are they willing to go to?
Education, stability, and safety are all good factors, but they do not
adequately answer our subject. This child is a gift from God, an eternal
soul that will forever
be in God’s presence. That child only has a brief
time here
on earth to prepare them for an eternity that must be chosen. To raise
this child without the knowledge of God and the need for salvation is a
travesty. The
Worth Of A Soul far
exceeds any monetary value, even the deficit of the United States! You
and I are precious to our Father in Heaven and He displayed tremendous
love for us through Jesus on Calvary some 2000 years ago!
The Worth Of A Soul speaks
volumes because it forces one to look at a person and go beyond our own
reasoning. You are more precious than diamonds, rubies, silver, platinum
or gold. My friend the combined value of a million acres cannot be
compared to you! You were sent here with a purpose from God. We are here
on assignment for His Kingdom, and we cannot afford to miss out on
God’s plan for our lives. Do not allow death to remove you before
you’ve completed your mission that has been drawn out by God for you
alone!
No
one should value our children greater than we parents! If someone else
places more value on your children than you do, that is definitely
wrong! The
Worth Of A Soul is
a challenge to us personally because we are special to our Heavenly
Father. |
March 2 to March 8, 2008 How Far Would You Go? “For
my thoughts are not
your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the
heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways,
and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
As
I was preparing this lesson, this thought kept flashing in my mind and
soon began to resonate in my spirit. I kept hearing, How
Far
Would You Go? Obviously
I was expected to give an answer, and I truly believe each of us need to
be able to respond also. Someone may be thinking, explain that
statement, How
Far Would You Go for
what? We’re speaking about Missions
and
Souls
here, so what
would your answer be?
My life is sold out to Missions, and getting souls won into God’s
Kingdom is my
passion. This
is why I take my calling very seriously. God allows us to be creative in
reaching out with His message so this is where, I believe, the dividing
line is drawn between all of us. Let me say that I would not resort to
sinning or compromising my salvation, but if you are going after souls,
wisdom must be used. Where
are these people currently at? Do they know about the Lord? Here’s
another question, what if these folks are saved, yet are not walking
according to the dictates of God’s Words? How
Far Would You Go?
Wisdom would find a needful point
of contact that
they can relate to, is it music,
movies,
sports,
politics,
history
or wars?
We each have something that we can relate to and the odds are, they
would serve as a great starting
point.
Jesus related the Kingdom of Heaven or Kingdom of God to pearls
(which of course were of great value, yet were not used by Jews because
it came from something unclean). He used a
fish net,
a light,
even salt.
These all were things people could relate to and understand his message.
He told stories of travelling merchants or land owners and the people
understood Him. He understood the human mind and the need for it to be
challenged, especially with illustrations or illustrated stories. Was He
wrong that He thought “outside
of the box?”
How
Far Would You Go? Listen,
you don’t have to compromise in sharing God’s Word with others. |
PRAYER FORCE
United In Oneness
Our
Prayer
Force for
this week will deal with the subject, United
In Oneness.
In John 14:20 amplified version we’re told “at
that time (when that day comes) you will know (for yourselves) that I am
in my Father, and you (are) in me, and I (am) in you.” Here
we see a good example of what being United
In Oneness is
all about. Our titles or positions mean nothing in heaven dear ones. In
God’s Kingdom, we must obey the rules of engagement if we expect to go
far. Look at how the Lord portrays His relationship, and positioning
with the Father, He understood that they were always United
In Oneness.
Consider what I am seeking to tell you, the Lord declared a powerful
statement that has not only gotten my attention, but has gripped my
heart. He said that we are in
Him
(Jesus), and that He (Jesus) is in
us!
Look back at what has transpired in your life since your salvation. Do
you not know that it was the Lord’s oneness with us that has brought
us this far? Hear me when I say that in the Kingdom of God we must be United
In Oneness to
effectively do what Abba has laid out for us. Today, look at the amount
of believers who are struggling to live an overcoming celebrated life in
Christ. What’s their problem? Well, they refuse,
reject
and
are just
ignorant of
being United
In Oneness with
Christ.
Today, you can make a difference not only in your life but in that of
others around you by being United
In Oneness, just
as others have done. We need each other and must strive to know one
another by
the spirit and
not simply the
flesh.
When we begin to live, work, fellowship and worship United
In Oneness,
we will see such transformation occur that will literally boggle
people’s minds! We have the opportunity to step up to levels that
we’ve never touched before if we would simply be United
In Oneness.
When this is done, walls of separation and indifference will collapse
because we will then see as Abba does and behave as He expects us to. United
In Oneness should
be our way of life, and goals will be met and joy will be sweet! |
March 9 to March 15, 2008 The Beauty of Oneness
“For
there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and
the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.”
Within the Body of Christ there is a certain fulfillment which we
must achieve to be able to flow in the Holy Spirit as Abba desires of
us. The
Beauty Of Oneness
teaches us that functioning victoriously in the Kingdom of God is
God’s perfect way for His children to live. Schisms, divisions and
clicks can all be avoided if we would just live in oneness. Allow me to
define, then explain what I’m getting at when speaking about oneness.
This word speaks of unity,
harmony,
and covenant,
it also reveals agreement
between two or more people hence, Oneness.
The
Beauty Of Oneness is
clearly shown in the Trinity; Father,
Son
and
Holy
Spirit.
As you study the Word of God it is very evident that unity is displayed
in all that we see,
enjoy
and participate
in. Look around you and you will see the beauty of our island home came
as a result of it’s owner, the Lord. From the trees and plants, to the
rivers,
waterfalls and ocean, look at how they all keep a balance in our
ecosystem. Do you think it just occurred or stumbled into being? Of
course it didn’t, it was planned by God for our pleasure. The fowls,
animals and fish are provided by the oneness
of the Trinity.
The
Beauty Of Oneness reveals
the very heart and mind of the Trinity so that we who are created in
their likeness and image can worship,
love
and
honor
them.
There has never been an argument between them, nor will there ever be
one! When we within the Kingdom of God begin to function in this manner,
you will see that what we labor to do during our lives, will come very
naturally. When we begin to walk together in agreement we will achieve greater
things as Abba would have us do. Why should we be struggling when
there’s a more excellent way to do it? The
Beauty Of Oneness does
this, and will make a believer of all who dare to accept this teaching
and not see it as a challenge! The
Beauty Of Oneness is
a lifestyle that every believer should be living if you desire to make
it through this life victoriously.
