PRAYER FORCE
Discerning
The Lord’s Body This
week’s Prayer Force will take a serious look at Discerning
The Lord’s Body. We have an opportunity to “raise the bar” and
“lift the lid” over things that have been hidden from our
understanding. As you read this, take the time to do several things, A)
Stop and consider who you are in Christ, B) Look around you and
see other believers, C) Focus on the importance of discernment,
D) Thank God for making provision for your life eternally. Dear
one you are special, not only to God but to each of us! Let’s
look at some things that are beneficial for you. When we speak of the
Lord’s body we must make a clear distinction about what we are
speaking of. Is it the literal body of the Lord, or is it we the
members that comprise His body on earth (the church). Communion actually
speaks of the literal body of Jesus Christ, not His church. It
was His body that was broken, bruised, beaten,
bled and died, not the church! There are those who do
not discern what Jesus went through and obtained for our lives. “He
was wounded for our transgressions,” His going through
allows me to overcome! “He
was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was upon Him,
and with His stripes, we are healed.” Do you see yourself doing any of these things? No, it is Jesus’
body that we must remember whenever we receive communion; we must
remember what victories were given to us because of Him! If you
are afflicted and receive communion, you must believe you are healed
because of what He accomplished! If you receive it but do not believe
in healing, you have cursed yourself by not discerning what
was paid for. Peace is yours because of what happened to the Lord’s
body! Dear one, please see that God knew what He was doing when He
planned His Son’s entire life for you and me! |
November
4 to November 10, 2007 The
Body Of Christ “For
with the heart man believeth unto righteousness;
In the life of
every believer we must see the importance of working together in unity
if success is expected. This unity must first begin within each of
us. We have one body yet many members and each member
must do what it is assigned to for health and well being to be achieved.
It is possible for a ministry, business, family or ball team to have
perfect unity and experience God’s best for them. On the other hand,
where disunity rules, failure and strife is
prevalent. The Apostle Paul uses the human body as an analogy of what
and who believers are, representing the Body of Christ.
Consider your body and its many members, and the unity that’s
required for you to live in health. While we place great emphasis upon
the lungs, hands, eyes, ears and feet, we should actually honor and take
care of all of our members! In a ministry, do you think the
Pastor is greater then a member? Of course not! We need each
other to function properly, and so it is with your body members!
Your eyes have its purpose; it will never be able to touch, smell,
taste or hear because it was not created to do so. But
allow your eyes to do its work and you will see that life can be
experienced from a grand perspective.
The above scripture tells us that in God’s plan of salvation,
it takes two body members to get you hooked up, the heart and the
mouth. After doing its job, salvation comes to the entire
body, not just those two members, but it is now the
responsibility of every member to live up to the prescribed rules
God set for salvation. Unity between the members will bring great
rewards for all. Disunity will cause some to be cut off or
even worse, lose the whole body!

PRAYER FORCE
Taking
Accountability This
week’s Prayer Force will deal with a timely subject that is vital
to our well-being and welfare; it’s called Taking Accountability.
Why a message like this you ask? It’s very simple, it is needed.
In the kingdom of God everyone is held accountable for what they have been
entrusted with and what they have been assigned to do. Accountability
comes with responsibility, it is given to every person on earth. This duty
has been shirked from the fall in the Garden of Eden right up to our
present day. If something goes wrong in our lives, guess who is
accountable? Yep, you are, no one else! Taking Accountability means you are a
responsible, mature person who can be trusts. If your employer entrusted you
with a position, equipment, assignment or responsibility, you must know that
from that moment forward, you are accountable for whatever transpires.
There’s no passing the buck or blame here, it all falls on you. When Nathan
the Prophet confronted David about Uriah’s death, David accepted the word
and knew he would be held accountable for his actions. This was unlike King
Saul did after being confronted by the Prophet Samuel concerning King Agag and
the Amelikites. He blamed the people and refused to be held accountable. He
lost the Kingdom and Kingship because of this! Wherever
it may be Taking Accountability is important because it shows God and
others the intents of your heart. It also displays your character to those
around you dear one. So let’s do a self examination today. Are you a
responsible person in all that you do? Be honest now! Does Taking
Accountability mean anything to you? Is it getting hot here? Can you be
a person who can handle the authority you’ve been entrusted with? Take a
deep breath, is Taking Accountability asking too much of you but you still
want your position? Well, how did you score on this examination? If
you’ve failed, are you willing to Take Accountability to improve? |

11 to November 17, 2007 The
GoodMan Of The House “But
know this, that if the Goodman of the house had known in what watch the
thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his
house to be broken up .”
We work hard,
we invest much time, talent and energy, we acquire possessions and have
placed them within a safe haven we call our castle, our home. Then
something happens, it catches you by total surprise, some evil
diabolical person has the audacity to enter your house and rob you.
Within a few minutes, it’s gone! Those things you’ve worked
hard for, costing you so much, are now gone with a person you cannot
even identify. The sad thing is that you never prepared for a day like
this to happen. You’re stunned and angry!
So what are you to do? Yes, you call the police and file a
report, they will do their job of investigating, asking a ton of
questions, one of which staggers you. Did you have an alarm system,
perhaps a video surveillance set up to safeguard your
investments? You think about it and feel like a fool because you had the
monies to do it, but didn’t think it would happen to you! There
it is, reality, you considered it could happen, although the odds
according to your estimations were slim, nonetheless, you did
not protect your home.
Yes, it could have been worse, someone could have been hurt,
possessions can always be replaced. Dear ones Jesus gave this warning
over 2000 years ago concerning your life and eternal future. You are the
Goodman, you are also the house. We seem to be preoccupied
with so many things, we have appointments to keep, we are so busy, and
in fact quite honestly, we are too busy to watch over our souls.
If you value your life, if you desire to please the Lord, if you desire
to spend eternity with Him, then stop doing what you are, and take an
assessment of your daily routine. If you need to change things to become
The Goodman Of The House, then get in a hurry!

PRAYER FORCE
Make
A List Of What You’re Thankful For In
this week’s Prayer Force we want to have each of you do
something, and keep it in order to refer back to. Make A List Of What
You’re Thankful For and see what God has blessed you to have in
and for your life. A list will keep you honest, because you must
admit that God enabled you to either acquire or achieve
those things for your life. My list would include many things, I’ll
share several with you today. First, I am thankful for my
salvation given by my Lord. I would be miserable and lost without it. Second,
I am thankful for my family. We may not live like many others, but we
are still family as God placed us to be. Third, I am thankful for
the opportunity to minister the Gospel. I do not take it lightly, I know
the severity of what it represents. Fourth, I am thankful for our ministry.
Both GRM and GIA are very special to my heart, I can honestly say that I
receive revelation, encouragement, and joy right here in our house! Fifth,
I am thankful for my dear friends. Through the years I have acquired
many friends in many nations. These dear people lift me up in prayer and
encourage me through their words. I love them dearly. Sixth, I am
thankful for my health. In my authority and position, it would be almost
impossible to accomplish what I’ve been assigned to, if I had bad
health. I am thankful to Abba for my health! Seventh, I am thankful for you.
That’s right my friend, I thank God that He brought you into my life
and we can partner together for His Kingdom. You are very special to me
because I am able to complete what I have been entrusted with, all
because you are here to assist me. I want to tell you that, through
Jesus Christ, I love you and am very thankful for you. There you have
it, my short version of what I am thankful for, so when you sit down to
enjoy your Thanksgiving meal, lay hands on that list and bless God for
it. |

18 to November 24, 2007 Entering
With Thanksgiving! “Enter
into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise:
This
is the proper way for every believer to enter the house of the Lord. Not
dragging their feet, certainly not with anger, heaviness, hatred,
remorse, condemnation or any other negative thing. Nor are we to enter
the Lord’s house with our agendas, ulterior motives and plans to
franchise, market, scheme or spouse shop! Listen everyone, we
are to enter His Gates
with Thanksgiving and His
Courts with Praise! I guarantee if this is done on a
consistent basis, services will be phenomenal.
Every time the doors open, each time we assemble to lift up the
blessed Name of the Lord, we should be in the right frame of mind and
spirit. When we do the Call to Order, it should be with
enthusiasm and joy. We gather as thankful people who have received
healing, deliverance, breakthroughs and salvation from vices and sin
that had us bound. We gather at The House of Freedom, The
Palace of Joy, The Tabernacle of Praise, The
Edifice of Excitement, The Deliverance Center and God’s
Prayer Center. Do you think the Priests and Levites were allowed to
enter in down trodden and fatigued? |

PRAYER FORCE
Watch
God!
I
want to turn your attention to the only person that matters in your life.
In our Prayer Force for this week I will challenge each of you to
do one thing, Watch God! We live in a day where we can watch
videos, DVDs, live entertainment, sports, literally anything we desire.
But I want to admonish you to direct your undivided attention to the
world’s scene and Watch God! Hear me my friend, you’ve got to
tune out all of the distractions that constantly occur around you. To Watch
God you’ve got to be focused. Some
feel that God can be seen only in the Middle East, particularly around
Israel, but if that’s the only place you’re looking, you will miss
much of what’s happening. First of all, do you see God at work on
your job, in your home or at school or church? If
you can’t see Him working close to you, how will you be able to
see Him at a distance? Do you see God in the ministry you’re
assigned to, or do you have to see Him in another. My friend, you need
to know that He is here right now. Watch God! There
is not a place I have traveled to and not seen God at work. Guess what
happened when I went to Papua New Guinea? Watch God! Know
what I did in the Philippines and Solomon Islands? I Watched
God! Yes, in Samoa, Tonga, Fiji, Kiribati,
Canada, Ireland, England, Denmark, Austria,
Jordan, Greece, Corinth, Lebanon, Syria,
Israel, Ghana, and the United States, I took the time
to Watch God. I Watch God work in my own life,
my ministry and my family, and so many times He doesn’t do
things as I expect or desire Him to, but I still Watch God! I
challenge you to stop watching the devil and begin to Watch God! You’ll
be pleasantly surprised, to see just how often He’s doing things around
you. Just Watch God! |

25 to December 1, 2007 The
Right Place At the Right Time “They
have said, Come, let us cut them off from being a nation;
What a powerful
verse spoken here for us to consider. While these things actually
happened over 2700 years ago, you must see the prophetic side of it too.
As you study the 83rd Psalm, you will begin to notice the distinct
parallels between Israel’s past and it’s present. The
enemies of Israel may go by different names like, Hamas, Hizbollah,
Iran, Saudi Arabia and Indonesia, but you must admit that the
hatred towards her has not dwindled.
When Jacob wrestled with the angel of God (Genesis 32:24-28) it
was a match he wrestled alone. It was not a “tag-team” match
where he had a partner to help him out, nor was it a “battle-royal”
where thirty guys fought it out until one stood victorious. Instead
it was a match sanctified by heaven, approved by God for the purpose of bringing
change to one ideal, and establishing His covenant with the son of
Abraham and Isaac. Remember, God is a generational God and His
plans will be carried out. Jacob had no cheering section that night, he
was at The Right Place
At The Right Time.
Jacob needed God’s help more than he could ever imagine, he was
distressed in spite of his success. Do I have a witness?
The name change could only come after Jacob (supplanter, trickster)
recognized that His lifestyle was working against not for
him. He needed to fall into the plans of God and he was far from it as
long as he was in control. The same can be said for the nation
of Israel, it’s time for them to recognize God, not America
or the UN as their help! I truly believe that they are at The
Right Place At The Right Time! |
