PRAYER FORCE
Being a Faithful Witness The call of God upon one’s life brings us to a point or place where we must place total reliance upon His words of wisdom. Let’s discuss the subject of Being A Faithful Witness in this week’s Prayer Force. If you were to ask someone to define what a witness is, they’d probably say it’s a person who has personally heard, seen someone or something. And they would be correct; but if it is seen from God’s perspective, the meaning changes dramatically. The Lord declared that His followers would be witnesses after they received the baptism of Holy Spirit! Can you see the smile on their faces after hearing these wonderful words; you shall be witnesses, and not just witnesses, but witnesses with power! What they saw while with Jesus was how the religious leaders reacted to the words of the Lord, how the authorities questioned His actions and the number of times His life was on the line. Jesus was God’s faithful witness and instructed all His followers on being a faithful witness. That word "witness" translated in the Greek language is "martus". Upon further study and research we find martus to be the root word for the English word martyr, and a martyr is someone who loses their life for a cause willingly. There you have it fellow believers in Jesus Christ. Each of us are now expected to understand that we are called into being a faithful witness after we receive the baptism of Holy Spirit, and be willing to lay our lives down for our Lord. You can read about men and women in scripture who, while being a faithful witness, were killed by those who opposed their teaching and preaching. Their messages were deemed “too difficult and narrow minded” and they needed to be silenced. But you can’t silence someone who is being a faithful witness.

September 2 - September 8, 2007 Words To Consider “But ye shall
receive power (ability, efficiency,
and might) We have ministered from this passage on many occasions, but I want to accentuate a particular phrase that are truly Words to Consider. When our Lord spoke these words, they were to the Apostles and the others gathered with Him on the Mount of Olives. They did not realize this was to be the Lord’s final instructions to them before His departure. Had they known it, they would have asked other questions instead of the ones they did ask. Look at verse four and you can see a key point Jesus was making to them, “wait for the promise of the Father.” In verse five He tells them that within a matter of days it would occur; the promise would be sent. They thought He was saying that the promise would be a “sign” (remember they were Jews who sought after signs) that would then usher in the re-establishment of the nation of Israel. It was after this statement that verse eight is highlighted. It is not about the establishment or re-establishment of a natural kingdom, it was about receiving the promise of the Father! That promise would change their lives, mindset and desires to live up with God’s will. Yeshua
spoke these words to consider yet they did not consider
them. Listen, after three and a half years of being with Jesus and
being taught by Him, they were still hoping their natural rebellious
kingdom would appear again! Why didn’t they believe His
teachings? What would be sent was far greater then their
kingdom; it was God’s promise of security. It was His
protection for them so that with power and boldness they
would accomplish His will. These were Words
to Consider! |

PRAYER FORCE
Learning God's Ways As we continue our teaching concerning transition, in our Prayer Force for this week we want to study the subject called, Learning God’s Ways. This is very important because this will get you to learn about the nature and person of God. In Psalms 103:7, speaking of Abba, the scripture says, “He made known His ways unto Moses, His acts unto the children of Israel.” You see dear ones, not everyone takes the time to learn God’s ways; too many desire only what’s in His hands and do not take the time to seek His face. Believe me, this is very critical for all of us to understand. God’s purpose in transition is to teach us His way. Don’t be like the foolish who are only concerned with what God can do and accomplish for their lives. They are greedy and do not seek the Kingdom of God, just the blessings. It’s this type of mentality that prevents transition from being successful. God has expectations for us and we must learn to recognize Him, to learn from Him and about His ways. If you desire a God lifestyle (and every believer should), it will only be attained when we embrace God’s ways. This is what clearly separated Moses from the entire nation of Israel! If you want strength and stability in this transition time, then you must embrace and know God’s ways. This develops how you and I will walk in Him. When we serve God we will learn that doing His works will produce an excitement in our soul! But hear this: it will never ground us during seasons of transition and pain. When learning God’s ways, you’ll find that God wants something in us that we can remember, to use against the enemy when he attacks us in our future. So dear one, don’t be like the majority who only strive to see what’s beneficial for them, excluding what Abba wants them to do for Him and the Kingdom. Begin Learning God’s Ways; it will bless you. |
September 9 - September 14, 2007 Transitioning With Sound Doctrine “Be not carried about with divers and strange
doctrines. not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.” Hebrews 13:9 There is a great desire in many believers, especially leaders, to produce new revelation concerning the word of God to help people grow in the Lord. Unfortunately, a majority of these people do not have their “spiritual antennas” tuned in to the right channel and whatever revelation they are picking up is not from God. Listen, when God gives revelation, it always reveals something; not make it more difficult to understand. Revelation is given to bring clarity and insight to people. God does not give revelation to confuse you, but to give you understanding. The book of Revelation reveals the true Person of Yeshua and gives you insight concerning the future of the world and humanity. Realizing that the Bible is given to believers in the Lord, not everyone who reads it will get a revelation that’s God ordained. All you have to do is look at the many books written concerning prophecy and how it relates to you. Most of these authors boast of their revelation of scripture, yet some are so way off that it is either frightening or ridiculous. You see, revelation is good, but every revelation must point you to the establishment of sound doctrine. Many misunderstand what revelation
truly is. It is not knowing now something that had been hidden
from one’s understanding, but revelation is having insight into God’s
heart concerning His truths. The insight you receive must point
to the establishment of sound doctrine that will cause you to
transition to your next assignment. Always remember that sound doctrine,
or teachings, ground you in your transition times. Because of this
strategic move, the enemy will seek to deceive whoever is not rooted
in the pure word of God and they will lead many astray and cause
multitudes to become shipwrecked. |

PRAYER FORCE
God's Check List Our Prayer Force for this week will deal with something we call God’s Check List, and it is found in Proverbs 6:16-19. Before you begin to check this list out, allow me to warn you that there may be one or more things on the list that pertains to YOU! If they do, simply repent and ask the Lord to get it out of your life so you can live a fulfilled life. Okay, here we go as we begin at the top of God’s Check List. 1) A proud look. Don’t you just hate it, God goes straight to the jugular vein and puts pride at the very top of His list. Next, 2) A lying tongue, well that says a lot because those with a lying tongue are of their father the devil, whom Jesus said was a liar from the beginning! 3) Hands that shed innocent blood, boy these include abortionist, murderers, and conniving leaders who send people off to die in wars that are unnecessary and those who murder missionaries of the Lord. We move on to 4) A Heart that deviseth wicked imaginations. These are the people who have yielded their minds over to the enemy and come up with books, movies, television programs, games and whatever else will be able to capture people’s hearts and lock them in a life of shame. We move on to 5) Feet that be swift in running to mischief. Today, like years ago, when this was written we find people busily running about, traveling from one location to the next to do things that are evil. It’s on to 6) A false witness that speaketh lies. Yep, you can definitely find these people as guns for hire; they will quickly lie about anyone if the price is right. We close out with 7) He that soweth discord among brethren. This group enjoys seeing fights and arguments take place, they enjoy seeing others destroyed by their antics. Are you on God’s Check List?

September 16 - September 22, 2007 Are You Humble? “And when he humbled himself, the wrath of the Lord Within every human being there is this intrinsic nature to be puffed up, proud for various reasons. But the word of the Lord clearly tells us that God resisteth the proud and God despises a proud look. Why do we have to face severe consequences before we consider humbling ourselves? You can see it everyday and in nearly every place, proud arrogant people strutting around like peacocks daring others to say something about their behavior to them. The question we must ask is simple: Why? Throughout the Bible we read stories of Kings, Prophets, women and many others who behaved proudly because of their position or heritage. Whatever the reason might be, they were wrong and would soon have to face God for their attitude. The above scripture is about King Rehoboam, the son of Solomon who was doing great until pride took hold of his heart. He then began to do despicable things that eventually got God angry enough to bring in other nations to chastise him. What gets me about this story is how God reacted to King Rehoboam after he humbled himself. There is definitely a lesson in
this for all of us to learn dear ones; as we can read for ourselves in Micah
6:8, “He (God) hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what
doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love
mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?” This is the
correct way for us who call Abba our Father to walk, behave
and pattern our lives after. So the question we ask each
one today here at Grace Redemption Ministries is quite simple, Are
you humble? |

PRAYER FORCE
Receiving A Personal Revelation Of Yourself When transitioning occurs one thing must happen for things to be successful, we must understand that Receiving A Personal Revelation Of Yourself is vital. Let’s study this subject in our Prayer Force for this week. It is very likely that we all tend to hide a part of us so others don’t know it exists. But in times of transition, it is imperative that we get the truth out, and what better way than receiving a personal revelation of yourself. Good or bad. There’s a time for all of us to find out if things have really cleared out of our lives or are merely hidden. You see, if you expect to move forward with your time of transition, then you need to check who’s in your life. Are those things really gone out and you have been delivered of them, or did you just get a relief. If you have not been delivered of your past and have managed to cover it up, you better know it will surface again. The love of God gives us a revelation of our corruptions and iniquities, but He will also reveal our capabilities, possibilities, skills, gifts, talents and the other good things that are laying dormant in you. Ask yourself that question today, What’s dormant in my life? Because it is dormant, that means it can come to life in an instant! Now, should we have negative things yet in our lives, God will convict us of them, and when conviction does come, it is not meant for our condemnation. What God desires to do is use that conviction to demonstrate the need for change and advancement, so we can transition properly. Remember dear ones, conviction is not our enemy, it is to let us know that an enemy is present in our lives. Holy Spirit desires to clean us daily, He is that power that worketh in us so we can accomplish the Father’s plan. It is time for all of us to begin Receiving A Personal Revelation Of Ourselves so we can move on with the call of God for our lives. Let’s go for it everybody!

September 23 - September 29, 2007 The Demands of Transition “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: Psalms 37:23 While we go through transition, there are specific instructions we must always adhere to, comprehend, understand and keep within our hearts so we can navigate successfully through the process. We receive instructions which are directions, orders, commands and mandates that will educate our understanding which we were once ignorant of. Transitions gives different directions, which means we will see different scenic spots which may not be too familiar with our comprehension. Always remember that as long as God is leading through this transition, we won’t get lost! The Demands of Transition are many hence they will vary from one step to another. This is the very reason why we must always be dependant upon Holy Spirit’s help, so I encourage each of us to cooperate with Him. Remember this important note, we must wait on Him. Don’t expect Holy Spirit to wait on you because He will leave you behind and you’ll soon find yourself playing catch up with Him. One of the demands of transition is reprioritizing some things which you have in your life, you may have to strip away some and make room for others. If you want to draw closer to Holy Spirit, perhaps you have some “stuff” that needs to be dumped! Corresponding action is demanded when transition is undertaken. At these times, what seemed to have been withheld suddenly is released in the spirit on your behalf. You’ll then begin to see spiritual laws set into motion. Abba begins working on your future and it becomes clearer for you to recognize, and soon things begin to occur that hasten your arrival with that which is actually your future. God actually choreographs your steps before you ever begin your transitional journey! The Demands of Transition are vital and real.

PRAYER FORCE
The Throne Or The Lord? Our Prayer Force for this week will deal with a subject we all need to seriously consider, The Throne or The Lord? To be quite honest, we will work hard towards obtaining that goal we’ve set for ourselves, whether it be a top position or a throne. Do you realize that you can become deceived by the very thing you work so hard to obtain. You see dear ones, what is not clearly or fully revealed to you are the pitfalls that come with that very prize you went to obtain. This is why remaining focused on God is vitally important for your very existence. Yes God wants to get us to the throne or lofty position, but not at the expense of losing your eternal life! Remember that no King or Queen has ever sat on the throne forever! It may last a few months or eighty years, but eventually it will come to an end. I had the privilege of meeting King Tupou IV of the Kingdom of Tonga. He was the longest ruling King of that nation He received Jesus as Lord and Savior, was filled with the Holy Ghost, yet after over sixty years he died. Did you get that? The King died, every single one will. The throne is not the end of the line dear ones, it merely prepares you for your next point of transition. A good question to ask yourself now is: Who established me, was it God or myself? Always remember that self made people think very independently; to the point of actually believing they do not need the Lord’s help. When everything around you fails (and it will), you must recognize that God will yet be in full control, even over what belongs to you. Satan thought getting God’s throne would establish him forever and God would have to bow down and worship him. How sadly mistaken he was. God doesn’t need a throne to be God, He will always be God! He doesn’t live for the throne, He lives! So dear ones, consider what God is asking, is it The Throne or The Lord?

September 30 - October 6, 2007 Transitions Do Not Last Forever “And David perceived that the Lord had established
him king over Israel, and that he had exalted his kingdom for his people
Israel’s sake.” This may either sound humorous or ridiculous, but it must be said and understood; Transitions Do Not Last Forever! There may be a tendency for us to think that once we have successfully made our transition, we can now rest on our laurels and relax. But if this is ever done, it will bring you down! Arriving at your place of transition does not mean now you are set for life. Dear one, it signifies that you’ve completed a season of your life. The danger of shifting into “ease mode” can be very costly, mainly because it will allow your mindset to change for the worse. Since transition is not perpetual, we must always keep our eyes on the Lord and never on that goal. When I was ordained as a minister some 27 years ago, I never realized God would use that as a starting point to propel me into my next season of transition. Yet while I pressed in and did all that I was required to do, I never expected to transition out of that current position. Then it happened, six years later I was elevated (or transitioned) into the office of an Elder. What I had discovered was that during those previous years, God was already having me transition into the next level by doing all that the next office required. I was content as a minister, yet God had somewhere else for me to transition to so I could fulfill His plan. While there, God began to establish His purpose for me to see, and there would also be many battles I would fight as God was getting me positioned for the next season. There were struggles I faced that I thought would surely destroy me, but God sustained, strengthened and kept me every single step of the way; just as He desires to do for you.
