Freedom From Futility

    This week’s Prayer Force will deal with the operations of the spirit world and how you must understand how it affects you. In Freedom From Futility we will learn about spirit beings, their functions, limitations and strategies, and what we must do to win out over their schemes. When Lucifer sinned against God, his actions affected everything, including the third of the spirit beings that were deceived by his plans. These beings not only affect we humans, but the other spirit beings who are to work with us. In this lesson called Freedom From Futility you will see things in a different light that can change your perception of things in and around your life.

     Have you ever wondered why it is that as a child of God, you find yourself subjected to things that seem to get the upper hand over you? For  some reason we have failed to recognize and understand that our struggles are actually unnecessary. There is, right here on earth a restrainer, a spirit that keeps people in subjection or in bondage, not allowing the people of God to move about freely as we ought to. We learn about this in Galatians 4:1-9, it seems as if the Apostle Paul gained keen insight to this important fact that was a mystery God revealed. What do you think of when you hear the word futile or futility? It is from this that we have our freedom!

     We have been translated by the Father into the Kingdom of His Son, yet why are we still being subjected to things we should have overcome? There are spirit beings who may not be evil or demonic, yet they themselves seem to have a lack of power or don’t operate as true sons of God! Why is this occurring? Remember that Gabriel needed Michael’s help to combat the prince of Persia, how come? They couldn’t really hold Gabriel back forever could they? Yet for 21 days they seemed to have the upper hand until Michael showed up and gave Gabriel Freedom From Futility! In other words there are spirit beings or elemental spirits who also need to be released from futility! We have all rights to release them to do their assignments because of what Yeshua accomplished at Calvary 2000 years ago. The cross is where the issues were settled! This is where we were given our Freedom From Futility!

Dealing With Elemental Spirits

“Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.”
Colossians 2:8

    There is much for every citizen to learn in the Kingdom of God if we expect to live triumphantly. We taught on the beauty of oneness, that of course pertains to our relationship with the Lord and with others within the Kingdom. Once again allow me to repeat this very important point, we must learn to recognize each other by the spirit, more than knowing each other in the flesh. Our true identity is our spirit man and thus, we must begin to operate by this factor. As your Apostle, do you know me by the spirit or simply as an individual? Your answer is very important.

     To the church at Ephesus Paul taught the saints about demonic forces in four levels that harass and oppose every citizen of God’s Kingdom. The levels are 1) principalities, 2) powers, 3) rulers of the darkness of this world and 4) spiritual wickedness in high places. However in Colosse he goes on to detail the activities of Elemental Spirits which are actually another order of spirits who enforce restrictions against our assignments. Remember this important point, not every angel or spiritual being is evil, yet because of where we are located (earth), those who are granted the right to exercise their authority in this world actually can hold back or even prevent the good spirit beings or angels from helping us!

     The angel Gabriel (God’s messenger) told Daniel that he was held back by the prince of Persia (angelic being) and had to call for assistance from Michael the archangel (Daniel 10:11-13). In Job 1:6 and Job 2:1 angels are called sons of God, just as we are in John 1:12. While we are victorious through our Lord Jesus Christ. Why is it that we are harassed by the legal system, science, and other realms that Jesus had no problems with? Listen, in dealing with elemental spirits you and I must be aware of their existence and their capabilities. Let’s find out more about them today so that we can begin to live like we should!
